1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will receive a certificate of achievement from the Vitas International Music Competition.
Grand Prize
The highest honor of the VITAS International Music Competition, awarded to the most outstanding performer across all divisions.
This prize recognizes exceptional artistry, technical mastery, and musical maturity at the highest level.
The Grand Prize will be awarded only when a candidate demonstrates truly exceptional distinction. The jury reserves the right not to award the Grand Prize.
Grand Prize: $1,500
Main Violin Award: $500
Vitas Scholarship Award
Presented to a musician of exceptional artistic distinction and outstanding promise.
This award recognizes individuals who demonstrate a compelling artistic voice and the potential for significant artistic development.
Group A: $200
Group B: $300
Group C: $400
Group D: $500
Distinction Award
Awarded to performers who demonstrate a high level of musical excellence and refined performance quality.
This award is accompanied by a modest monetary prize.
Multiple or no winners may result in each of the age groups and/or instrumental divisions at the discretion of the jury. All jury’s decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
*Please note that the Grand Prize and Vitas Scholarship Awards are considered higher honors than 1st place. Receiving 1st place does not automatically qualify a participant for a scholarship.
The judges reserve the right to divide the prize in other proportions or to award no prizes.
